Marty Ellen

Marty is currently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eden Green Technology, an agricultural technology company, since January, 2019. In July 2018, he retired as EVP & CFO of Dr Pepper Snapple Group after having negotiated the $21 billion dollar sale of the company to JAB Holdings. Marty joined Dr Pepper in 2010 after having served as EVP & CFO of Snap-on Inc. since 2002. He has been in the CFO position for 29 years, across healthcare, industrial, franchising and consumer businesses, both private and public. His companies have been sold six times while in the CFO position and he’s been involved in negotiating those transactions and involved in most of the post merger integrations of these transactions. Across his career, he’s been engaged in $10 billion of buy-side M&A on an international scale and has been active in the integration of those products and entities, including an early career assignment to lead a 60 person integration team. Marty graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS degree in accounting, is a CPA, and graduated with his MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Marty currently serves on the board of directors of Eagle Materials (NYSE:EXP) and chairs its audit committee. He also serves as a director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas.
