Mission

The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Tower ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½’s thriving community of alumni and associates supports the mission of the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ by ensuring the success and representing the interests of current students and alumni to the Executive Board of the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Tower ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½.

The Tower ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Alumni and Associates Board contributes toward current undergraduate student development through mentorship and funding to sustain and enhance the Tower ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½’s primary mission: to promote the study of politics and international affairs and to stimulate an interest in ethical public service among undergraduates.

Background

In 2019, the Tower ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ celebrated its 25th year anniversary.  The first cohort of the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Tower Scholars Program, a multidisciplinary minor in Public Policy and International Affairs, graduated in 2017. Prior to the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Tower Scholars Program, the Tower ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Student Forum was an active body of students fostering academic dialogue and facilitating a marketplace of ideas through events, scholarship, and academic publications.

Today, the Tower ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ supports current students through both the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Tower Scholars Program and the Tower ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Student Forum. Alumni and associates of the Tower ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ have been reconnecting in recent years and includes over 110 members. 

In October of 2024, the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ will celebrate its 30th anniversary of inspiring and educating the next generation of thoughtful leaders. The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Tower ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ is primed to welcome a new team of alumni and associates to lead the community’s continued growth and impact.
