Safe Links

Microsoft Safe Links protects you from malicious links sent to your 天美传媒 email accounts, as well as links included in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office desktop, mobile, and web applications where you are signed in with your 天美传媒 NetID.

About Safe Links

Safe Links checks links in emails both as they arrive in your inbox and when you click on a link. If a website is compromised after you receive an email but before you visit it, you gain an extra level of safety.

With this change, you may notice the following:

  • In Outlook for Windows, when you mouse over a link, you will see a the URL followed by a notice to "Click or tap to follow link."
  • In alternative email clients, when you mouse over a link, you may see a different URL that starts with https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?…  in the mouse-over tip normally displayed.
  • If you click on a link for a website that might not be safe, the page will be blocked from loading, and you will receive a warning that "This website is classified as malicious."
