About
Patrice Dunn, PhD., is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S)as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Dr. Dunn is a Certified School Counselor and 6th-12th Educator with over 30 years of experience. She received her PhD. from Texas Tech University in 2023. Dr. Dunn is an Assistant professor at Midwestern State University in the Clinical Mental Health Department.
Dr. Dunn founded Real Life Counseling & Consultation in 2007 with a special interest in adolescents, women’s trauma, racial trauma, and parenting. Dr. Dunn is known for her ability to blend humor, honesty, and hard-hitting truths to create an engaging experience that leaves audiences both inspired and equipped with practical tools for change.
Dr. Dunn shares her commitment to making an impact—helping people find their voice, step into their greatness, and create real change in their lives and communities. She credits her understanding that every obstacle is an opportunity to grow, every hard conversation is a chance to connect, and every setback is a setup for a comeback.
