About
Dr. Gomez is a board certified licensed professional counselor supervisor that is in private practice in Frisco, TX. He is trained in Gottman Method Couples Counseling levels 1, 2, & 3. He is also trained as a certified anger resolution therapist, cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia, play therapy, EMDR, and humanistic sandtray therapy. Dr. Gomez has previous experience teaching group therapy and practicum. He also has experience supervising LPC Associates to licensure.
Dr. Gomez specializes in working with clients with anxiety, anger, insomnia, trauma, and couples counseling. His practice consists of working with tweens, teens, adults and couples. He uses a variety of counseling theories to assist his clients such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and Gestalt therapy. Along with traditional techniques, Dr. Gomez enjoys using creative and expressive modalities in therapy such as humanistic sandtray therapy and legos.
