What is the Advancing Evaluation in Philanthropy Fellowship at CORE?

With support from the , ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ CORE is hosting the Advancing Evaluation in Philanthropy Fellowship program. The Fellowship aims to span the boundaries of research, evaluation and philanthropy. The Fellows’ two year arc of learning is designed to give hands on exposure to social science research fundamentals, project management, evaluation and philanthropy content and trends. Fellows receive mentorship from WFF leadership, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ CORE, as well as other researchers, evaluators, and philanthropy professionals. Fellows will also be given the opportunity to develop professionally curated readings, and attending or presenting at local and national conferences. Fellows complete a Capstone project synthesizing their learning and bridging them into a meaningful career in philanthropic settings where they can put their research and evaluation training to best use.

The Advancing Evaluation in Philanthropy Fellowship is a two-year position with salary and benefits, as well as a travel budget to work in person with Walton Foundation and to attend and present at national conferences. Fellowship hires are typically posted in the Spring; check the for postings.

    Endaisia Love is the first Advancing Evaluation in Philanthropy (AEP) Fellow to complete the two-year fellowship developed in partnership with the Walton Family Foundation and The Addy Foundation ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ on Research and Evaluation. Endaisia is helping to shift how grantees are evaluated to a more collaborative and inclusive process.
