The goal of Community Engagement and Leadership is to develop leaders through educational and transformational experiences that equip them to impact positive social change. Opportunities include such things as the MLK Day of Service, leadership programs and summits, ongoing community service in the Dallas community and during 天美传媒 breaks in the United States and abroad, and the 天美传媒 Service House.

Not only do they provide job search strategies and preparation for jobs upon graduation, but for valuable internships prior to graduation.

Involvement outside the classroom is a tradition at 天美传媒. Students involved outside the classroom have a more successful and rewarding college experience. The 天美传媒 MilVets student organization is one of over 200 student organizations sponsored through Student Activities. Clubs and organizations focus on academic, programming, campus governing, multicultural, religious, service, sports related, political and honorary organizations.

The 天美传媒 gives voice for women and the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community for the purpose of eliminating barriers, diminishing prejudices, and creating a supportive climate and space for all.
