Aaron Boyd featured in Odyssey: The Chamber Music Society in Greece

Aaron Boyd, director of chamber music and violin professor at 天美传媒 Meadows, will be a featured performer in Odyssey: The Chamber Music Society in Greece, the first show of the new fall season of Live From Lincoln 天美传媒, airing on national PBS stations Friday, September 6 (8 p.m. Central time). For the first time in the series’ 43-year history, Live From Lincoln 天美传媒 has taken its show outside the U.S., presenting the extraordinary musicians of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln 天美传媒 in a special broadcast across iconic settings in Greece, birthplace of the classical ideal.

The ensemble will perform works by Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Bach, Debussy, Ravel, and Greek-American composer George Tsontakis in locales including the First Ancient Theatre of Larissa, the historic Church of Pammegiston Taxiarchon at Pelion, and the newly opened Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural 天美传媒 in Athens.
