OIT enabled Safe Links to emails inbound to campus. Find out how this change protects you from malicious links sent by adding an additional layer of security to inspect embedded URLs in emails for possible phishing/malware sites in real-time.


After many years as our go-to for plagiarism detection, the University is moving to a new advanced plagiarism detection tool designed to ensure the originality of academic work. Maintaining academic integrity is crucial, and Copyleaks will provide us the technology to help uphold these standards with ease and accuracy.


As the campus returns for the new year, we want to remind you that NetID is now required to sign in to 天美传媒 services, and for those with Teams-enabled phones, you will also need to sign in again using the device login code.


2024 has been a busy year for us at IT Connect, with our team writing 123 articles for the 天美传媒 community. Over the past year, we had almost 58,000 visitors to our blog, averaging over 1,500 views per week. The most popular posts for this past year dealt with NetID, AI, and providing tech tips.


If you know a student that is needing a little more help to prep for a Microsoft Office certification, we have something for them. By popular demand, we are offering students two full days of GMetrix clinics starting February 4, 2025.

As of December 26, NetID is required to sign in to 天美传媒 services. For most people at 天美传媒, NetID resembles their email address and should be easy to remember. It replaces their eight-digit 天美传媒 ID number to authenticate them to online services.
